I'll give HCMG the benefit rather than your bullshit accusation.
Whatever, the ice is there for more, all of the MBB season - if that's not included as a note in game prep... not sure what else to say - all of the NBA teams KNEW there were dead spots in the old Boston Gardens' floor - they didn't always know where those dead spots were. Guarantee that was mentioned at some point to the players

Graves is now in his 4th season in the Valley WITH ISU - I'm omitting his years ON THE ACES' staff...

But, if he wasn't prepared for any floor issues - got it. Yesterday's game was only the 22nd time he's coached (assisted & led) on that floor...

1 season at UE - 17 home games
4 seasons at ISU - 4 road games
2 seasons at Butler - 1 road game

Hope this is the last time something like that is mentioned

I think a lot of you are misinterpreting Graves’ comments about the cold floor.

He was talking about the overall atmosphere in the building being dead. The crowd was sparse and low energy, it was an early tip time, and the overall temperature in the building was “cold” due to the ice. He wasn’t blaming the ice specifically, but he was including it as one of the many reasons we seemed to lack energy to start the game. That, and it was our 3rd game in a week.

3d game of the week and a relatively early start as well...

assuming the team travelled to E'ville the night before

It was the day before game day and I had to wonder...

Is Evansville the perfect opponent for us following the Ohio State and Bradley games? Maybe.
Is Evansville really as bad as we think they are? Maybe.
Has Evansville turned a corner with their back-to-back conference wins? Not yet.
Can we hold them to the 28% they're shooting at the 3pt line? No (7-20, 35%).
Will they shoot worse than the 67% they're shooting at the free throw line? Yes (11-18, 61%).
Can we score more than the 70.4 points that their opponents are averaging against them? No.
Were the 98 points they scored vs Green Bay an anomaly or can they do it again? Anomaly.
Will Harding turn it around and be effective on offense? First four points of the game. Finish with...four.
Will JD play more than the 18.5 minutes that he's averaging? Yes, 24 min.
Will Vorst see the court? No.
Can we try to get Jayan Walker more minutes? 10 minutes, not the definition of "more".
Can we please have fewer than 15 turnovers in this one? No, 15 exactly.
How good of a showing will the ISU faithful make at the Ford Center? Pretty good.

I just want to say that I always enjoy these.
