And Dorm Visitation RULES from the probably the Mid 70's and definitely back, were strictly enforced to help prevent this.

I remember saying to a Fraternity Brother while visiting some girls at a Sorority Suite in Lincoln, "Hey, we gotta go, or we're going to get written up if its past 11:00!" It was like 10:57 when I said that.

We walked through the Cross-Lounge and were stopped by four RA's. They asked for our Student ID's, and they said we have to Write You Up. I said, you're kidding me. By then it was like 15 seconds past 11:00 pm.

I had to meet with the Dean of Women and explain why I shouldn't receive more discipline than just a Warning. I said go ahead and do what you gotta do, I'm getting Drafted in 3 Weeks. She didn't care for my insolent answer, and demanded an apology. I apologized, and Nixon stopped the Draft the next week....and I didn't get kicked out of school or whatever the next level of punishment was going to be...that was never really clear.

Boy how we have changed....and most of it, NONE-FOR-THE-BETTER for Universities, or Mankind.

Wait till the Muslims control everything in the United States in 100 or 200 years, maybe the sexual assaults will stop at Universities....if so, that will be a good thing.

Edited my initial post that was here for inaccuracies. Then edited my upadted post to conclude my participation in this thread. Had a conversation with TwoMinuteDrill via direct message and this has been resolved. Should have just scrolled down in the football forum and I would have found the answers to my questions...

No criminal charges have been filed against Goldenberg

Are we not convicting this kid before he has been found guilty?

The accusations are merely allegations at this point. As I understand it, no criminal charges have been filed against Goldenberg and, according to the prosecutor, none are anticipated so he does not have a "sketchy criminal past."

Edited my initial post that was here for inaccuracies. I too make mistakes, sorry for those who were effected. I asked a question in my initial post in the very first sentence, a "?" infers that I don't know the answer to something and need some clarification. Perhaps, I shouldn't have expanded any further until it was clear to me. Once again, I didn't name any names or directly falsely accuse any other player on our roster of wrong doing. It was almost inferred that I brought another kids name into this discussion and I didn't do that. Furthermore, if you go back and read my post I clearly communicated the fact that kid in question Goldenburg was a transfer as I was questioning why we keep taking on transfers with criminal charges or a criminal past of some sort.

I will conclude with this, I read the article in the Tribune Star and clearly demonstrated as much - perhaps you should have read my post before jumping my ass. I also went back to look for the tweet, google searched and went to TribStar and WTHI websites looking for that exact commontary. "Not sure if this was in the news that I saw this or on Twitter? Perhaps I dreamed it up but could have sworn I saw that this week?" What about my post came across as acusatory or negative toward any other player? I was clearly trying to figure out what exactly I saw last week.

You want to come at me on something then be my guest, but get off your high horse! Putting things in ALL CAPS and calling me out only brings further attention to it. You could have directly messaged me about it and I would gladly have removed my post. At any rate, sorry that I didn't correctly connect the dots on this one.

HAHA you were scolded however the person doing the scolding who evidently did not read your post or else he or she would have seen the question marks in the post . BTW I only read the edited version until I scrolled down and saw that they had quoted you thus allowing me to read the original post to agree with your edited post so maybe we should say TWOMINUTE DRILL YOUR QUOTE IS INCORRECT AND REMOVE IT IMMEDIATELY AND NEVER QUOTE INACCURATE THINGS AGAIN

Looks like this issue is BIGGER than Goldenburg in the State of Kansas, and a Federal Dept. of Justice (Obama Atty Gen. Lorretta Lynch) resume builder.

***Btw it says in THIS article, that a "notation" was placed on Goldenburg's transcript when he was expelled from Kansas.
In other words, ISU authorities had knowledge of his problems PRIOR to enrollment in Terre Haute.

This is an excellent point. I had thought charges were being filed the way all of these news articles were coming out the other day. If they're not filing charges, then I question the validity of the accusations. Guilty until proven innocent.

Agreed. Police investigated turn it over to the prosecutor no charges were filed. The parents are suing the University of Kansas not this young man. So why are we removing him from the roster? This is an entirely different situation from our IU transfer that ended up at Marian.

It's Election year boyz...heads roll as politicians seek to climb that imaginary ladder of "success." Look a the Wiener Dawg in NY, where his wife (Hillary's trusted Asst.) waited until yesterday to "Separate." lol

How long's this guy been a bona fide pervert? But he's "glued" to a # of high profile NY establishment fellow cons, and his Muslim wife knew this.

Article from a Kansas site on the issue. Some good points in the comments.

That explains why the coach is suspended and I agree with that information, but the young man was only accused and never charged, we had another transfer that was arrested and charged. Are we changing our policy about such transfers? I strongly believe in second chances. If he is safe enough to be walking among the general student population then why wouldn't he be safe enough to play football?

The risks far outweigh the advantages, now that the matter has been highlighted by the local news. ISU is simply playing the "politically correct" hand which they've been dealt. Nobody wants to be included in any shape or form to Title IX litigation.

I don't know how the kid can stay focused and enrolled as an ISU student in lieu of all this. Regardless of guilt or innocence, the young man's life has been seriously damaged. Let's hope he remolds the broken pieces and moves forward. Not gonna be easy. "Labeling" by society can be cruel, regardless of age. Innuendo & falsehoods become unrighteously manufactured as "facts," and out of convenience, very few seek discovery of the TRUTH.

I am surprised that he is named to the lawsuit with out being a party to the suit, I am not an attorney but it would seem to me that he would have some recourse.
