Ok fair enough 11, but please tell me in the past 2 years how Josh Crawford's minutes or situation is ANY different? It's not, Isiah played more than Josh last season that was cut short due to an injury... Like you all sit here and tell me how Isiah is put in a tough spot but you are so ga ga over him you don't even pay any attention to what Josh does or doesn't do... He is strapped for playing time just as much as Isiah... You are so busy worrying about Isiah getting in the game that you ONLY notice the negative things that Josh does.

I mean if he has to prove it to you then that's the way it goes, but he has played BETTER than Martin this season their are no if, ands, or buts about it - he just has. If you can't admit that then you are watching a different game and are looking at different box scores.

Morgan I agree Crawford does not receive a whole lot of credit but I just really love Isiah's effort and defensive presence. I also think Crawford should start with Isiah getting equal minutes off of the bench. Can we all agree that as long as Brant is not in were satisfied with the two?! Lol.

I do pay attention to both players, and I'm critical of both players.
Look... maybe I can put it this way.

Considering everything that I've seen from all 3 guys. Here's how I would rate the OVERALL performace (defense included, and I believe that's where Martin is better of the 3 - it's more than blocks... it's not allowing others to score inside the paint - not leaving your man to help on a block and then getting beat on a pass for an easy shot.)

On a scale from 1-10.

Brant: 3
Crawford: 6
Martin: 6.5+

Really not that much difference.... I put the + there because I think given encouragement he has more athletic ability for improvement.

I second that entire motion...

The difference between Josh and Isiah is so minute - they both make bone headed plays. However most of the time when Isiah makes them he is playing hard and it's just one of those things. Usually when Josh makes them, he's not really playing hard just dumb mistakes. That's the ONLY difference in my opinion and that is the reason why Isiah has sooooo many fans on this forum - which is silly to me. But not something I attempt to understand, they are all 3 not very good.

as for redshirting crawford on post 18 that's not going to happen he is a senior and will be gone next year

ahhh now it makes sense I wasn't paying attention to the post date hahaha

Ok point is all of our big men are not great we are actually arguing over which one sucks the least when it comes to that position. I agree with everyone here Brant is not an option at all . He misses wide open dunks and layups. Josh in the last 2 home games has recieved the ball down low and was for the most part unguarded he didnt know what to do and ended up turning the ball over both times These are boneheaded mistakes that a SR should not make. Isaih has quickness but he fails when it comes to dominating the position. I think he is too weak when it comes to muscling up with the big boys . All in all when you combine our production at the Center position it just proves a point in how well the rest of the team has played to this point because these numbers are awful.

*Lifting self imposed moratorium on posting for one post*

You know what I like to do to drum up conversation on a message board when my team is playing exceedingly well? I like to try and figure out a way to bring something negative to the table...like in this case, putting down a player (or two in this case) because they're not better than the other.

Seriously...awesome bumping of a thread that should have died back when it started...I swear some of you will NEVER be happy no matter how well this team does...and there in lies the reason why I stopped posting.

ISU currently has a team of 8 guys capable of playing...they've been giving full effort and work for the Sycamore fans. I bet they love reading/hearing about how the fans aren't sure which center sucks more than the other.

I can't believe in the Bradley game, that Leitnaker didn't start or play more than 10 minutes like he usually does.

Ok Little Eddie.... Back to your self imposed ban, because you obviously can't post without saying anything negative yourself toward diehard Indiana State Sycamore fans. It's a message board, not all conversation is always positive, nor does it have to be. Hell I wasn't even being negative, just creating conversation and revisiting a topic for those on here who think I have 0 knowledge of the game.

I can see why you brought this post to life, to prove yourself right in some of these cases, but I also agree with Eddie on how this topic has moved into bashing a couple of our Elite Eight, who are working their asses off right now. Harsh criticism of them at this point seems unnecessary. I applaud their effort. Keep workin' fellas!

Yeah and maybe your right about that in that case maybe Eddie's post wasn't directed at me. But it sure didn't read that way. Please tell me where I was negative toward any of our players in this entire thread? I simply made a case why Josh was are best big man and I assure you that I didn't have to make that case by tearing another player down. That wasn't my intention with this thread at all. I think if you read my first 3 posts (since it has been reinstated) in this thread you can see that.
