ISU football finishes offseason workouts

TERRE HAUTE, Ind.(WTHI) - Wednesday marked the last day of offseason workouts for the Indiana State football team. The Sycamores capped it off with a new tradition in the program called MADMAN.
In just its third year MADMAN is a grueling eight hour workout. The ISU team is divided up into four groups of 12. Each of the four groups faced several difficult task, a wall climb, a three quarter mile run, while carrying 50 pound sandbags and 100 pound heavybags. A Farmers Carry, with two individual weights, weighing 200 pounds apiece, a 450 pound tire flip. Canoe races, intended to teach the guys teamwork and endurance and a pond run. Which is running through shin deep water that is like quicksand.
