Yep. The worst part is a majority of the looks were what I'd consider wide open. We just missed them.

I know some of you guys said we didn't shoot much in the pregame. Maybe we should have?
 
Who on earth decided to employ Kevin Harland as a basketball commentator? He is bad enough doing the NFL - absolutely atrocious on basketball. That was painful listening.
So close there but, great comeback but gave them a sniff and they took it.

A 4-point loss to Drake doesn't take anything away from this season IMO.

-Our best season in decades

-The most fun group of guys to watch in the country (in my opinion)

-Got our program talked about nationally more than any time since the Bird years

-Illinois State aside, we won every game I felt was a game we should have won

Maybe we'll play more basketball this year, maybe we won't, but this season has already been one I'll always remember

On the plus side, I think it was him that explained why the MMs get screwed when he talked about the Quad system and how no high majors ever have to go on the road to us because the opportunity is baked into their conference slates.

Reminiscing on how I felt after losing to Bradley last year. This season has given us so much… I hope we’re in consideration for an at large bid. But I’m not taking anything for granted, including the electric moments this team has given us. Moments like Swope draining 3pointer anfter 3 pointer against a hard fought game at Michigan State, beating Drake at home to make our way into the AP top 25, and Robbie Avila becoming a social media sensation. We are going to the post season one way or another, the NCAA preferably, but regardless of what happens from here on out there is still a lot to be hopeful for about the direction of this team. I still can’t wait to see how Schertz continues to develop this program.
 
I’m just glad we made it a game. Helps a lot for an at large. However, fuck this sucks. Swope was huge down the stretch
