I think Camp could have some interest just for how hot he can get from 3. I was worried about JD after the Ohio State game, but if they watched the last few minutes of this game that worry is gone.
This is a sick as I’ve been all year after a game. Just threw it away and played with no poise whatsoever. And our “star” was MIA.
This game was nearly a perfect microcosm of the season. I'm not sure how anyone is shocked. This is what we saw most of the year. Play decent for a while, then play horrible for a bit, then play well again......just not a recipe for success. I really hope we can find the right guys we need and keep the ones we can build around....if not, then i expect more of the same next year. Getting harder and harder to pour your heart into this type of stuff, which makes me sad as a 30+ year diehard Sycamore.

Consistently inconsistent all damn year is all I can say. Very frustrating because some of these guys can play a little bit. Not sure where we go...
Listened to the post game. The play was supposed to go to Teel but SIU took Teel away and the ball was supposed to go to Doughty but Graves said he should of took 1 more dribble.
The last play was just not a good design. The counter should have been the ball go to Wagner.

Why go to Wagner after you bury him on the bench for the second half? Our substitution patterns are disturbingly unfocused.
I agree to a certain extent but I thought Bruno outplayed Camp today. Camp couldn’t guard anyone
I’m guessing he found himself on the bench because he can’t guard…. but then again, no one on this team can defend. It’s interesting because they actually got the ball control issues under control for the most part the last quarter of the season. But couldn’t ever figure out how to play D.
That last defensive pos of the game was so bad
- Teel gambles for no reason, loses contain to allow dribble drive.
- JD helps as he should, gets perfect position to take charge and then bails out of it.
- To his defense they probably don’t whistle a charge on a dumb off unless you get great contact with game on the line but we’ve seen crazier things. The only play was to try and initiate the charge.
- Bruno ball watching, has to sink down and take away the dumb off in perfect position to do so. But worries about the lockout - who cares and is watching. *His defense more than anything has to improve he is a ball watcher.
- But the breakdown was all Teel. Game was lost at the line and on defense but he was the season ending breakdown.

What do you mean why? He can shoot from anywhere on the floor basically. Anything was better than that BS we got. We needed a basket and Camp doesn’t need a whole lot of space to fire it up.
I think he’s more so referring to the fact that Camp found himself out of the rotation then you’re gonna go to him with the game on the line but not put him in at all in the second half. I think he fully understands that Camp is a knockdown shooter, especially in that situation.
I was really just making a point that they buried him for most of the second half. I know why we would want him to shoot…
Being at the game. Their ball screen defense on Teel took him completely out of the game. Camp was on the bench because Dibba was eating him up on switches. I don’t want to knock JD after the year he had but he left plays on the floor
