Not so sure...thought he took out too fast & "locked up"...@ 5 mi. mark he was what, #54? JM looked in bad shape when he crossed the line...hope he's ok.

If he finished in 30's given the conditions, helluva effort! That NCAA announcer didn't help the PR one bit re: TH's bid to keep the National Final here. Can't blame him...some running area turf looked like a "pig pen."

just got home to be able to post on this, great day for John! All American! He started out a bit too quick, then dropped back a bit, but dropped back a little too far, then played catch up and got his all american place! It was a COLD and windy day, but the wind, being from the NW, actually helped the runners today. I'll post articles in the morning.

Big time crowd at the meet, nearly 5000 people, which is awesome for a cross country meet!
