Her words are not in quotes for whatever reason in this article - but is she really taking a victory lap by saying that the other two commissioners didn’t join Mark? I talked to both commissioners and they were not happy about the entire last couple weeks as well.

Unreal.

Her quote shows her headspace -- which is vindictive. I don't even acknowledge Clink's letter if I'm her and I'd divert any questions to the needs of the program. She still has no clue about relationships or optics.

"I want to thank the Vigo County Council for giving us these much needed funds to allow for us to continue to care for children within the community as we have since 1979. Again, thank you for being a trusted partner of Indiana State University."

It's all "Good ol' Boyz n Girlz" politics...how the Hoosier 'Rat's chew wood.

Btw, who were the Commissioner's who voted w/ this strategy? Also curious re: the demographics of the children enrolled...

Team grandma Vickie Weager who is somehow in politics longer than Joe Biden and continues to get elected in this town. I have no idea how. Who was Greg Lansing‘s best friend and now JS best friend as well. She’s a pawn she would never vote against Indiana State on anything.

Tonight on news they actually said that BOT addressed my issues and wanted more collaboration with local officials. We’ll see.

Is bet the farm that ISU does NOT want more collaboration with local officials. They are too insular and will not give up control.

I think they're getting to the point where they're going to be forced to cede some control before it is absolutely too late.

Does Indiana State have any sort of local politician/business council where they can be cross-functional -- a la what can we do for the city where maybe you can help us with recruiting? Or something like that?

That seems like a no brainer and honestly why the eff have we not already been doing this? These supposedly smart college folk are acting like this shit is rocket surgery....GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER ISU!

This Curtis-ism is a disease...some call it "Identity Politics." (Women's equity, LGBTQ) but the fork in the tree is reaching a breaking point. I always trace this biological problem back to the loss of our ISU mascot, Chief Oubache. Now this? What have we become over the past 30+ yrs? A Gay Rights flag flanked by the red, white & blue on the White House porch? Yes, these are the PRINCIPLES now chiseled into stone on the walls of Holmstedt Hall. Curtis is a politician, not a college administrator, and look @ the damages inherent @ ISU aligned w/ her malfeasance.
