I’m guessing someone has a history of getting banned from platforms and not understanding why
I have no problem with the outcome of this game. Any team in the MVC would have suffered the same fate last night. Maybe by fewer points but still by 20 or 30+. And some by more than 40.
I’m more confident we can compete in the MVC after last night.

yeah what happened on the court last night was actually more encouraging than what a 38 point beatdown would suggest. We gave them a game for 10 minutes. Were very competitive for about 16 and then just the difference in size, speed, length, skill took over inevitably. I’m willing to bet outside of Bird we’ve never had a recruit ranked as high in program HISTORY as their lowest ranked recruit on their bench last night.
I do get a little annoyed when the media slobs all over a coach like Jon Scheyer and indicates he is a gift to basketball coaching. He might be a good coach but the MFer gets the best basketball players in the country every year. You put Sless or Graves in charge of Duke and Scheyer on our sidelines it would have been the same outcome. I’d actually argue Sless had a better game plan coming into the contest. Once Duke went full court press we were toast; but what the hell are you supposed to do in that situation if your the our coach?

It really was the difference. After our opening spurt, they started switching Boozer onto Cam up top and it was over. Then it was just a block party afterwards.
