You must not have watched the game..
I didn't even know this game was going on until after it was over with. I only got on here on Saturday to see if anyone had anything to say about the Illinois State game.

Also context is key. My comment on the refs had nothing to do with this game. Bluethunder got on here crying about how SIU got screwed by the refs on our Homecoming (when they didn't) right after we won and I asked him "Are you mad bro?" as a response. He thinks he's clever using that as a response here.

Yes crying. That’s what it was. Exaggerate much? Indiana State wins against SIU on an extremely favorable call where it should have been a fumble but they ruled the Indiana State runner forward progress stopped. The kind of call that you would have gone ballistic over had it been the other way. But hey, Ohio University benefited from the same call last night only in reverse (guy clearly fumbled at the five but they said he had forward momentum stopped).

But I get it. You spend months at a time trying to drum up interest in football, only to have a total of seven posts about the game on Saturday while it’s happening, and none of them even after halftime. Yet the basketball game going on at the same time has 11 pages of comments. Just like you spend time trying to drum up interest in Division 2 football and have one post about it weeks later.

I can understand the frustration when even the most diehard dedicated Sycamore fans don’t even care about the football program, let alone the former players, alumni, current students, or Terre Haute community at large.

Just remember you don’t have to root against the basketball team just because they have more road wins then the football team.

I guess you've never heard of video review before. If it was actually was a fumble they could have reviewed it and gave SIU the ball. Quit whining.
