Well, Ball State hasn't looked past ISU the last eight times we've played them in their some what new, Worthen Arena. Since they opened Worthen, we are 0 - 8 there.
So historically, they've not looked past us. Statiscally, it looks like we're going 0 - 9 Wednesday....but I'm going for the ole 9th time is charm thing, something's gotta give, they're luck has finally run out...and most importantly of all....we can win this year on revenge alone, for allowing BSU to beat us last year at home!!!!

This is usually a wire-to-wire game, much like the Eastern Kentucky game. If we learned a lesson from that one we can win; if not, we won't. They did come into the HC and kick us around last year and it was totally unexpected. Payback Time !

Regardless; they list Butler, a top 20 pre-season pick...
St John's, a Big East opponent in a holiday tournament
and 3 conference foes....
I don't like it but I understand it. If we were a pre-season Top 25 pick OR undefeated in Worthless Arena OR if ISU-M were a Valley school, it's a better argument.

Where in Fort Wayne do you live Gotta? I have family near Leo (cousin plays football for Leo heading to the State finals this coming weekend), have family up on Sylvan Lake in Kendleville and my dad is from Fort Wayne went to Northrop.

Sycamores still need to regroup a little bit. Will be awfully interesting to see who coach starts tomorrow night. Odum being moved into the starting lineup so soon is awfully telling and much sooner than some folks on here thought. I guess all of those who made assumptions about the level of play in the MIC translating well to college hoops knew what they were talking about, amazing! You woulda thought it was rocket science...
Hopefully my prediction is wrong, didn't really like what I "heard" on the radio from Chicago and via text message updates from a friend in attendance all weekend. Shame that we got off to such a slow start. But that's behind us now, big game tomorrow in Muncie! Hope we can come out playing better ball.

This week is only the semi-state man. OK, back on topic here. ISU has some revenge to pay the Cardinals tomorrow. Hopefully, we can play a full 2 halves with less TO's. I hope we win by 20+ but that is a tall order on the road, with a quality opponent.
