Probably the best litmus test for us so far this season. Let's beat my sister's alma mater!

Football's over...the focus is on Sycamore hoop now. Time to go to the bat rack, select a stick you can handle and kick a lil' ass this season. A "no wuss" attitude. No holding back...let it all hang out!

ISUCC as is GottaHav is he lives up in Fort Wayne. I'm out... Our lack luster play on Saturday gave me enough reason not to want to make the trip.

Giving up kinda early aren't you?

Lol... If you should honestly know I have 5th grade basketball practice tonight from 5:30 to 6:30 and I play in a church leage that has a game ay 7:30. I also have to be at work on Wednesday morning.

But then again you don't really know me so you would just assume that because I'm not driving to Munci and I'm not happy with the way they played on Saturday that I'm giving up.

Saturday was unacceptable - sorry it was. To lead that team at half by 12 and to win the game by 12... It's not like they came out of the locker room a different team.

But now you know the REAL reasons I decided not to go - hopefull you feel better.

I usually go to 2 or 3 away games a season - how many do you go to?

Had you not said that after seeing a lackluster performance Saturday, no one would've questioned why else you weren't going... I believe you brought that on yourself, so not sure why you got so upset or being a smartass about it.

Fair point - as the lack luster performance was indeed enough to make me not want to cancle my practice, miss my game and drive hours.

Not sure that would define giving up on anything in my book - but that's just my book maybe yours reads different.

Sorry for being a smartass.

This would be a huge confidence builder for a young team if we can pull off the win. Worthen Arena, however, has not been kind to us. Would be a nice time to change that.

Oh yes, I should add that before this season started I had the Sycamores winning this one. I'm going to stand by that and predict a 70-61 win for the good guys!

For anyone making the trip tonight, please make note of the fact that the flags hanging from the rafters actually blow in the breeze! It is one of the windiest arenas I have ever been to!

Well, I live in western Illinois near St.Louis, and will probably make the round trip 6- hour drive 7 or 8 times this year. At one time I had season tickets while living in Marion Indiana. I have attended over 1000 ISU games over the years - as a matter of fact I probably attended more games than you have in uour whole life when you were still a gleam in your Daddy's eyes. Started as a jr high kid hanging in the rafters at the old ISU area cheering Noooooose... Noooose... So yeah, I'm asking why you're giving up so quickly.

Boom! But I don't know - I might only be 26 but I've been doing this Indiana State thing for a long time... But if you want to talk about total body of work over a life span yeah I can't compete with that. If you wanna talk about avg. number of games per year - yeah this conversation is going no where quick this isn't a contest between you and me!!

Mad respect for your years of support! Moving on now.

Just gotta call from Ft. Wayne's one & only, GOTTA HAV...guess he's OTR & hooking up w/ ISUCC & some other Syc boyz. Hard to understand everyword he was saying, 'cause he's still in that Pavlovian stage after watching the Cardinals Dance Girlz the last time we played in Muncie!

I can relate to this viewpoint. I will still make every home game, but this team is going to have to get more interesting to watch before I make mid-week road trips. Hopefully that will happen soon.
