I understand things happen in real time. I also, watch the game in real time, just don’t post in real time because I’m to busy watching the game. I don’t post every mistake the guys make because it could be the only one. I’ve been around for minute but I try to be positive and not just post every mistakes. I love to see all the guys play well but unfortunately it won’t happen every game, that’s basketball. Mason Miller had a Great game. Love this team, they play well together. More basketball to be played. Let’s Go Trees.
I once posted that SSOM started out the gate like he had a bowl of pudding in his pants and he'd be better off running on his hands. He then won at the Drake relays....running on his hands. We comment on things real time on here as they happen. The only real difference I can see in those photos between UNLV's practice facility and ISU's practice facility is that one is painted in red and one is painted in blue. And how long are you going to whine about ISU football? It's literally every other post with you. I might respect your opinion a little more if you didn't throw out cheap shot after cheap shot, while also gleefully admitting to cheering for a different school in the same sport.A practice facility? Man that would be nice to have.
But we have other things instead I suppose…..

It's Cardinal as in the color of red they wear, not cardinals as in the bird (confusing for sure). Their unofficial mascot is a tree. I assume as a nod to the redwoods in the state.I thought Stanford was a bird.
96, Mark Twain says don’t argue with a fool. These guys make the most idiotic statements like “Have To Have Football To Make Their Lives Whole” They have the advantage for now, but when we start to win again, I’ll kick their asses off the wagon like The Karate Kid.The only real difference I can see in those photos between UNLV's practice facility and ISU's practice facility is that one is painted in red and one is painted in blue. Might want to dig a little deeper there chief

An hour after basketball practice ended Thursday, coach Dave Rice led UNLV's players to a unique rally. It was time to strike up the band, let the cheerleaders loose, roll out the red carpet and listen to speeches delivered by important people in suits.www.reviewjournal.com
Why make it about one sport vs the other? I never have. I don't want football gone for basketball's sake, I'd like it gone because we're not improving and aren't even competitive for the majority of games. That's been the case for a longtime now. I think that's true for a lot of ISU fans. We're just past the point of accepting never-ending futility.96, Mark Twain says don’t argue with a fool. At some point they'll realize we're the Pacers of college basketball.Whoever set that O/U needs to be dismissed.

Buddy, your profile literally says you root for EIU as well. Last time I checked, they play basketball and football in our division…and are considered a rival. Get off the high horse. The only real difference I can see in those photos between UNLV's practice facility and ISU's practice facility is that one is painted in red and one is painted in blue. Hey bub, I don't go over and support EIU football while at the same time calling for ISU to drop their football program. That's the big difference. Maybe learn the context of the argument before jumping in.Buddy, your profile literally says you root for EIU as well. If you really can’t see the differences between the practice facilities and the impact they have on recruiting…then no one is going to be able to help you. Recruits like the modernized practice facilities that they don’t have to share. The way of collegiate athletics, for better or worse.
You’re changing your argument. Stop moving the goal posts because you got called out. It’s a travesty you support other teams. Hard to call yourself a real ISU fan, right? See how dumb that sounds?Hey bub, I don't go over and support EIU football while at the same time calling for ISU to drop their football program. That's the big difference. Yeah, the EIU/OVC thing is pretty odd. One thing to sit at home and watch their games, but to state it on an ISU board...Hey bub, I don't go over and support EIU football while at the same time calling for ISU to drop their football program. Any program that puts motivational quotes on the wall from Ric Flair gets my support! It's also essentially an small arena located right next to their big arena. Team USA and Nike both use it for their Summer training events.
Trying to compare us practicing in the arena where intramurals are held versus this is wild.
You don't even know the context of the original argument, so quit pretending you do. The poster I was referring to was calling on ISU to drop football a month or two back while at the same time being gleeful about his purchase of Ohio State football tickets. See difference yet? If someone is supporting other schools in the same sport that they don't support at their own school then I really don't care what their opinion is on that said sport. You’re changing your argument. You’ve got to take a step back and breathe. Football isn’t going anywhere and it’s basketball season anyways. Let’s start the same arguments back up in the fall lol
Whatever you say man. I’m done beating a dead horse. But let’s be honest with ourselves here, anyone who’s visited this board understands the context of the argument. It’s your favorite subject. Looking forward to more spirited discussions in the futureYou don't even know the context of the original argument, so quit pretending you do. Let's also set the record straight on EIU like I have many times before. The only reason I ever started supporting EIU is because they're a local school that I could go watch while ISU was on the road or not playing. Started doing that 14 years ago and still do to this day. I rarely ever make it to a football or baseball game over there anymore because now I truck drive and I choose to come home during weekends that ISU plays on. Basketball is obviously a little different because there are multiple games per week (EIU could play Thursday and then ISU plays Friday for example).
