Will there be 1500 butts in the seats?

Yes but not many more. The usual. “Announced” attendance will be between 4-5k. Actual butts in the seats will be the usual 2400 or so that go to every game—God bless em. Maybe a few hundred more combining students that live in town anyway for Thanksgiving, visiting team fans, and some randoms. And, as always, there will be the hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of empty premium lower bowl seats that are never for sale.

Not if Scott goes busting into the lane and bashing into bodies while flinging the ball into the air over and over again .............even against a D2 team that will get you nothing.

Yep. I don't have the confidence in this so-called ''team''?? to beat ANYBODY right now. Same feeling I get every year with a Lansing coached team at some point.

Now boyz, let' s keep our POISE. Even a coach that's an "old pro" (i.e. GL) is entitled to a bad game every once in awhile. For example, I'm sure that SSOM could tell us a few stories about his TH Boys Club "learning curve" over the yrs.

I know. Just understandably frustrated right now. After the IU blowout I thought maybe this program might have turned a corner but........well you know the story.

Sycamores Opens Home Slate Against UMSL Wednesday

Indiana State Basketball opens the home portion of the schedule on Wednesday, November 22 against Missouri-St. Louis of the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Tip-off is set for 5:02 pm (ET) from Hulman Center and will be televised world-wide on the WatchESPN app. The game will also be broadcast on WIBQ 97.9 FM as well as streamed on GoSycamores.com. Indiana State is 1-3 on the season with a 90-69 victory at Indiana to open the campaign and are coming off a record-breaking 4OT game against Ohio to close out the Gildan Charleston Classic. UMSL, who is counting Wednesday night's game as an exhibition contest, is 2-2 on the season. The Tritons own victories over Grand Valley State and Webster. Terre Haute native Steven Davis leads the way with a 12.0 ppg average and owns 10 3-pointers this season.

It's game day vs a D2 team and I have total respect for D2 opponents but I still have to wonder...

Will we win by more than 10 points?
Will we win by more than 20 points?
Will we win by more than 30 points?
Will the Tritons get hot and go off on us at the three point line making the HC crowd nervous, restless, and angry?
Who will be our leading scorer?
Will Huenermann play 10+ minutes?
Will we have fewer than 10 turnovers?
Will we escape this game injury-free?
Will the band be at this game?
Isn't a Triton a weapon?
Or am I thinking of something else?
And a final statement...Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Need to get GottaHav's examination of "Triton"...he's our D of D specialist, nearing retirement w/ Raytheon.

WKU's down 27-24 @ half v. 'Nova...

'Nova forced a # of TO's by WKU in the 2nd half & cruises to 8 pt. win, 66-58.

it is encouraging at least to see we're able to compete and stay close to a D-2 school and not be blown out, but it is early yet
