And Atlanta is basically the Chi-raq of the deep south. It's another dump that I don't spend time in.
Speaking of football. Here I sit watching Sunday night football and I see a former defensive coordinator for the Sycamores is the defensive coordinator for San Diego. Of course San Diego's Head coach wasn't good enough for us to hire. We just had to hire a man of color (Lou West).
Not to mention Shakier Bell. That guy was dominating! We had a very good defense back then to go along with a really good offense. Then miles decides to turn on his college and go to Georgia State.

The team Chicago St had last year could’ve won the NEC this year. But their coach got raided and their roster followed.
Ouch.....Sometime something, Indiana State, something something, Sweet 16 this year....
That’s probably pretty accurateDay before game day!
I’m gonna guess that we get favored by 14.5 pts by the odds makers. Is that a good guess or crazy talk?
I take you to be fairly intelligent but your logic isn't logic. Matta probably made a positive impact on ISU. Payton probably did too. I'm pretty sure Harbaugh would have too. What we do know is that West did not. At least in wins and losses. I talked with him a couple times. Once before he was fired and once after. He seemed to be a very nice man. Just not the coach we needed. So, hire Harbaugh after his 1st year at San Diego and he still leaves for a bigger (level, program, $$$) job after 2-3 seasons...
Was Ind State 'better' because Thad Matta spent time on the ISU MBB staff? Was Sean Payton's brief tenure the spark to keep ISU Football going after all those years?
I remember playing a winless team (maybe Quinnipiac ?) in a early season tourney game in Florida a few years back and they beat us. Have to come to play & not just show up. Can't overlook or under estimate anybody especially in these days of unlimited transfers. Now back to our basketball talk.
