I take you to be fairly intelligent but your logic isn't logic. Matta probably made a positive impact on ISU. Payton probably did too. I'm pretty sure Harbaugh would have too. What we do know is that West did not. At least in wins and losses. I talked with him a couple times. Once before he was fired and once after. He seemed to be a very nice man. Just not the coach we needed.

The football team kept racking up the same 4-7, occasional 5-6 seasons after Payton's two seasons. After Matta left the Locke staff, the MBB team reverted to near Ron Greene annual standards...

the idea that Harbaugh would have stayed in Terre Haute more than a season, even two is as legitimate as the theory that if ONLY ISU had hired Roy Williams, HE'D have taken the Trees back to the Final Four...

those thoughts aren't logical - doesn't stop HUNDREDS of Tree fans of dreaming, wishing and hoping...

Will this game be our first 100pt game?
Will one of our guys have a double-double?

Will Teel lead the team in pts tonight?
Will Daughtry lead the team in rebounds?
Will Tyran shoot at least 50% from the FT line?
Will Alocen play the most bench minutes?
How many minutes will LeGree play?
How many minutes will Bean play?
Will CSU win and destroy our hopes and dreams?
And with it being Thanksgiving break, will the band be at the game?

I'll answer the first question: No. Ball State is 0-4 against D1 competition and just lost at home by 11 to Detroit Mercy. If you wanted to make a "Bottom 25" I think Ball State, Chiraq State, and Evansville would likely make that poll. These are teams we should be able to beat.

I'll answer the first question: No. Ball State is 0-4 against D1 competition and just lost at home by 11 to Detroit Mercy. If you wanted to make a "Bottom 25" I think Ball State, Chiraq State, and Evansville would likely make that poll. These are teams we should be able to beat.

Kinda like Houston Christian at home.

10 pt road win at MAC school is never a bad win.

HCMG said on the coach's show Monday that Vorst would likely be out a couple weeks. I didn't hear him say anything about Gray's timeline. He said Aaron tweaked his ankle in practice and wasn't able to go last game.
