What about Clank Wagner?if Harding runs so should he. Hell as many as he has missed this year he’s be running with the cross country team. 0-8 last night alone! Harding 2-12 for the year.
Frankly, if a player isn't making 33.3% of 3-ptrs, they shouldn't even be shooting one.

So ANY player should be running suicides - period.

Course, I'm a nut - I think EVERY player should be hitting 70% or higher of FTs and follow their shot and rebound like their scholi depended on it

Ya all really need to get off Camp’s jock if we’re keeping it real.

He shot 38% from 3 last year. He was 7th in school history for most 3 pointers made in a season and 5th in school history for 3 point percentage in a season.

So while the Clank Wagner comment does get points for creativity. It’s also utterly ridiculous as he’s historically one of the best shooters we’ve ever had and he’s playing for us on a discount.

Enough with the slander - it’s time to put some respect on his name.

Spot on. Camp wasn't hitting his shots, but I bet he had a half dozen rebounds and his baseline drive and dish to Harding came at a critical time.

2 or 3 of his shots were in & out. They'll start falling for him. I want him to remain confident & keep shooting.

I laugh at the nickname, but want Camp to return again next season, so I hope he doesn't read it.

He reads this stuff....he's about to drop a 28 spot and give us the finger.

@SycamoreStateofMind Butler 1-9, Charlotte 3-12, IL Tech 0-6, SIUE 5-12, Duke 3-12, LA Tech 4- 11, Ball State 0-8. If my math is right that is 13-70 against a mild schedule, except Duke, for an outstanding 18%! People are allowed to bitch about Harding shooting 3-17 after last night's game for 17% (and he isn't an outside shooter) but it's ok for our so called "sharpshooter" to fire 18%. Last year was last year Jim, YOU yourself have said that numerous times. You know it's a "what you have done for me lately" in basketball now. What's next are we going revert back to quoting team percentages from Schertz's last year here or maybe the 1979 season? Even I don't think we have hit that low.
The bottom line is our "sharpshooter" is shooting a lower percentage than Mason Miller did his years here (look it up) and you led the charge to make fun of him. You led the charge to make fun of Sam Mervis even in years after he left and he was nothing more than a walk-on who sat the bench. What was that about keeping it real and show some respect and off the jock. Maybe taking your own advice once in awhile might be of better valor. A little advice, check twitter, the cool kids quit using those terms since the 90's. Maybe work in a 6/7, or Rizz, or Skibbody, that is the cool terms now that way you won't be harshing the ora, it's not that deep Pookie.
I guess SSOM sets the ground rules for the followers to go by for who to cheer for or make fun of. I must have missed that in the page rules. Keep chucking them from the cheap seats CLANK, SSOM has faith in ya! @Jason Svoboda I apologize, I will tone it done some now but this has gone on long enough. I have my opinion just like SSOM and I am just expressing it, nothing more nothing less.

It’s “what have you done for me lately” in life - that doesn’t just apply to hoops… we agree ✅

I am not even sure that I @‘d you directly other than quoting your token nickname for Camp - hell I gave you have props for it as it cracks me up every time I see it. We don’t really agree but it’s still funny ✅

I also don’t think you’re wrong for calling him out - he hasn’t been great and deserves to be held accountable and you are not of line to do so… ✅

I didn’t really make it personal - but some how you managed to take it that way. Not sorry about that because it was a pretty mild post that was really mostly in defense of the shooter I think Camp is. Shooters shoot - you/we better hope he shoots his way out of this slump because without him we are out to lunch.

As for players that have drawn criticism from me - my criticism holds zero bias all were fair game before NIL and all are definitely fair game now that they are getting paid.

I also reserve the right as does anyone to check your critique. I think in general the mood around this team has been pretty negative - so again, no apologies for trying to keep things somewhat positive as we got enough guys on here right now ready to jump off a cliff.

At the end of the day, our games haven't been pretty, but we are sitting at 4-2 with 1 of those losses being guaranteed and Charlotte who I feel like caught us off guard. The metrics also show this. They haven't looked anything special in their last 4 games. Our defensive rating for Charlotte was 140.4, while we've averaged 79.1 versus SIUE/LATech/BST.

Our shooters need to be better. Frankly, if we were shooting our averages from last year, I think we'd be sitting at 5-1 and feeling pretty confident about this team. We have 3 more winnable games coming up and a good test @ Milwaukee. I hope by the end of those 4 games we see some consistency start to show.

We were also without JVB in that game and it was on the road. So we shouldn’t just dismiss factors that are generally very important when analyzing outcomes. Road game. One of your best 3 players is out hurt.
