Millington, a three year letterman, has started every game at defensive end for the Sycamores over the last two seasons and has big things planned for his senior campaign.
Millington has endured several bad seasons (1-33 during his three years) and could have thrown in the towel long ago -- but that isn't what true leaders do. Instead, Millington has been leading the Sycamore charge in the weight room this offseason looking to add one more to his ever growing adjective list -- Winner. Bring on Quincy.

Daniel Millington: To make it through the season healthy (individually and most importantly as a team. To begin the turning point for on field success for the Sycamore Football program. The supporters deserve some wins for all the investments they are making in the program.
SycamoreFootball.com: If you weren’t playing football at Indiana State, what other sport and position would you be playing?
Daniel Millington: I don't know that I have the ability to play at such a high level in any other sport, but if I had to choose a sport to be really good at; It would be soccer, the game is truly an art.
SycamoreFootball.com: Who has been the most impressive athlete you have lined up against in high school or college?
Daniel Millington: In college there have been many players we have competed against that are playing in the NFL, Garret Wolfe (N. Illinois and Chichago Bear) and James Hardy (IU and Buffalo Bill) were amazing athletes and gave us a lot of problems.

Daniel Millington: I really like rock music, while lifting I like hard rock such as Slipknot, Killswitch Engage, and Pantera. But when I am relaxing I like to listen to country like George Strait, Garth Brooks, and a lot of new country artists.

Daniel Millington: Coach Miles and Coach Denbrock, "Before you can start winning on the field, you have to stop losing off the field." I believe we have ended the losing mindset off the field and are ready to transfer that mentality to the field

I like to get to the stadium early and just relax and liten to my iPod while I get dressed.
