OMG of all places, please do not have the discussion above in THIS thread.

Back to the Baseball Season…

Winning tonight on ESPNU would be a very nice capper to the week. 20-18 is a solid record considering Arch took over a bare cupboard. I’m finding a lot of things to like about this team.

I want you to ( no matter if it’s free) go to a Track and Field meet, and pay to go? Are you getting at drop football again? Fund more money to basketball to pay big ( ISU big) money to watch them walk in the portal? Throw good money at bad?
It doesn’t work in this situation! Something has to change, or all you have is yapping!
Settle down big guy, I'm a track and field alumni.

But I said "don't get in the way of track and field" to indicate that it shouldn't get a ton of money thrown at it but more so just let it go what it does. It's in a good place. But it's also been discussed on hereabout LaVern Gibson bringing in more outside money and pride to TH than football does and it's not particularly close. But we will save that discussion for now for you

In the mean time, let's take the series boys!

8-4 good guys in the bottom of the 5th. Sycs have been in control all game but it's getting dicey right now

This team has no pitching. There’s literally no one I feel good about running out there
McEwen has been solid for past month. Brooks looks like he’s getting tired. Morris has been very good overall. There is no third starter. Most of others have had some good moments but are wildly inconsistent.

Perfect example of what everyone is talking about…..

Morris comes in on Thursday and strikes out 6 out of 7 batters or something like that.

Comes in tonight and blows a 3 run lead in one inning, then comes out the next inning and strikes out the side.

We never know what we have coming out of the pen from inning to inning, let alone game by game.

Well we already knew we weren’t going to win the regular season

The tourney is the only thing that matters.

And if our offense can average about 17 runs a game in the conference tourney we might have a chance
