In a matter of week beating both IU and Purdue on the road and going 2-1 against Southern js a pretty solid run. Evansville this weekend is another big series
 
Looking at Evansville stats, they are not good on paper. If we continue our recent way of improved playing, we should sweep this series.
 
Evansville has a great stadium and advertising on their outfield walls…we have no advertising at THE BOB (that I know of). Another lost opp for us to generate revenue.

Evansville also has an enrollment of less than 2000 and need the revenue.

Personally I think ads at baseball fields can get really tacky if overdone (don't even get me started on the on-the-mound ads in the MLB 🤢). That said I'd never say no to something like "Thompson Thrift Stadium at Bob Warn Field"
 
Watch out, but we have recent wins over Purdue, IU, and a 2-1 series over SIU.

We finish the season against the top 3 in the Valley, MSU/Murray/Ill St, plus midweeks with Illinois/Vandy/Tennessee. Our only 'easy' games left this season is the series with Bradley.

The pitching tonight was dominate…Morris was electric the final two frames. Would be nice to sweep a shitty EVille team with the upcoming schedule.

Great first season for Arch. Very hard to pick up where Hannahs left us, but he's got us right in contention in the Valley.
 
Bad loss....runs 4 & 5 for the Aces were on base as a result of HBP......Ugh!!!! Armstrong pitched well....kept the Sycamores in the game.

I want you to ( no matter if it’s free) go to a Track and Field meet, and pay to go? Are you getting at drop football again? Fund more money to basketball to pay big ( ISU big) money to watch them walk in the portal? Throw good money at bad?
It doesn’t work in this situation! Something has to change, or all you have is yapping!
