  • The Sycamores' 29 hits in the game equals the team's single game record set first back on March 23, 1979, against Lawrence.
  • Indiana State's 34 RBIs marks a new program record breaking the previous mark of 25 set at College of Charleston back on March 15, 2008.
  • All nine Sycamores in the starting lineup recorded a hit, scored a run, and drove in a run in the game.
  • Thirteen different Indiana State players recorded hits in Sunday afternoon's game.
  • Ten different Indiana State players scored at least one run in Sunday's game.
  • Ten different Indiana State players drove in at least one RBI in Sunday's game.
  • Over the weekend series, the Sycamores hit .381 from the plate with 48 hits (23 extra-bases) with 54 runs scored and 50 RBIs.
  • The Sycamores posted a team .503 on-base percentage and .675 slugging percentage in the series win.

Being honest though, if you're told the outcome of one of our games was a score of 36-6 and you have to guess the sport and the winner, it would be football for the sport and the outcome certainly wouldn't be in our favor.

Yes and no.

Yes, I would assume it is a football score.

No, I would not assume Indiana State has the 36.

I think we all would assume ISU football had the 6

With 3 games postponed, and Evansville and Belmont losing earlier.. it's up to us to secure the lone MVC victory today. Geez, rough start for the conference.
