He had already been tossed but was arguing with a different umpire when he threw his coaches helmet on the field. The umpire then held up 2 fingers while escorting him off the field....I'm guessing that means he's gone for game 2.
Two more home runs in the top of the 7th, ISU up 11-4. Looks like the team is starting to click with Tracy Archuletas offense.
MVC is wide open this season. Would be a good sign to be able to sneak out a reg season championship or at least challenge for it in what is a down year for us

All of the above players are trending upward IMO.

It's a 1 bid league. Go .500 or better and win a conference trophy or two and it will be a good season for a "down" year
1st and 2nd in the MVC SIU and Mo State (tied at 5-1) are playing each other this weekend. Big opportunity for us to make up some ground.
Trying to watch the Indiana State game at SIU-E but the home team is making it unwatchable.
The camera showing the pitching is so dark it looks like it is 11:30pm and the person running the camera behind home plate showing defensive plays has never worked a camera before.
On a groundout to short they zoomed in on the 3rd base ump and missed the whole play at first.

I've noticed that coach Arch likes the small ball plays. Bases loaded one out, you're expecting to see the guy at the plate swing for the fences and instead we bunt down the 3rd base line to get a run in and keep the bases loaded.
Yes we bunt much more frequently.
I would say Arch is a little more conservative than Hannahs was
