I think you still have to go for the onside. If ISU gets the ball, YSU isn't going to have much to work with.

Glad we held on, and I know most valley games are going to be a knock down, drag out fight, but I'm still disappointed we didn't do more with that early lead. We can't let team's hang around. The D had some big plays today, but they have to be stronger against the run and can't keep giving up third down conversions. I love our aggressive style (and so do recruits), just have to execute better. Fun game, but for me it was mostly just anxiety inducing. I want this team to take the next step so badly!

Agree that the defense was a disapointment. Youngstown State ran 90 plays to our 45 offensive plays. That is too much for any defense.

i was a little worried going into this game. ysu played michigan state tough and won their other two games soundly, i'm happy to leave here with a win. that was a very good team that we just beat. i would of liked to have won by more with the way that we were playing in the first half. but anytime you can get a win against a very good opponent you gotta take it.
