The JSW Level
I was in Terre Haute a couple of weeks ago and the field looked a little rough. Will it be ready for the start of preseason drills?

the field was not sodded so i would think that it will not be until next year before it is mature enough to do much on

The practice field worries me--it doesn't look level, and looks to have several spots that are an injury waiting to happen. I'm not sure who the construction firm was, but the field looks like it needs some rework.

Well you get what you pay for and they didn't pay anything for this and I believe that Mcguire Excavating in Terre Haute did the field.

Good night Irene, what's the point of "donating" the excavation work if you're going to leave a field full of holes and dips and hills, etc. Doesn't anyone take pride in their work anymore???

I'm assuming that's a near rhetorical question as the answer these days seems to be a resounding NO 9 out of 10 times. :(

Why don't we cut these guys some slack. It ain't cheap to run heavy equipment, let's just be thankful that we found someone to donate their equipment, time and expertise.

Thank you whomever did the work but is there anyway you could come out the field a little?
Best way to put it guys, it is not an indictment on the firm like some would think... It's just a respectful way to handle people

Agreed, coming from a family of excavators I can tell you until you have had a couple freezes and thaws, the settling of the surface is difficult to finish.

Miles is smart enough to avoid problem areas on the field. I'm thrilled at the price. I'm sure someone will level it up as it settles.
