Status of Spencer for SDSU game?

Does anyone know what the status of the wr transfer from MSU is. I believe his last name is Spencer and was a major recruit for Michigan State who always has a stable of receivers. He was playing on special teams and had several receptions his first year at MSU and wonder why he became out of favor with MSU. I thought coach suspended him for 4 games which would make him available for this weeks game. He seemed to be doing good in early drills at ISU and I thought he would help Fouch tremendously in the passing game having a receiver with this type of talent. Any word on him?

He actually was only suspended for the Penn State game. He has played in the last 3 games and has 9 catches for 94 yards (10.4 ypc) with one touchdown. His longest catch has been 26 yards.

He didnt get as many targets against ysu as I wanted. That press coverage should have him licking his lips.

I tell you when he hasn't been catching passes he's been physical with DBs blocking them all the way down the field. Excellent blocker

I do not think he is quite on the same page with Fouch as Justin Hilton is but he is getting defensive attention.

Hilton wasn't doing much against YSU either. They did their best to take away our outside threat and we beat them up with passes to the TEs and our running game. With this many weapons, defenses have to pick and choose what to challenge.

yeah...I think people are worried about fouch and now shakir is just now getting people worried....know YSU wasn't expecting that from shakir so they focused more on fouch...it will be interesting to see what sdsu does and if we can counteract...
