Is it possible for Stutzreim to redshirt? I think he has only played in two games. In those two games I believe we scored 30 points or more and have only scored 7 since!!!

I have a question.....Why is Ryan Roberts still? I know he is a good player but that isnt the position for him. We just have to stick to one guy and I dont believe Roberts is that guy....Stutzreim I'm 50-50 about, hopefully we can start clicking soon

I believe Stutzriem has already used his redshirt at Wyoming, so that is not a possibility. I know the reasons why the QB changes were made (lack of mobility, lack of time due to the OL issues, some flat balls...), but I think he should be given another chance. They didn't recruit him from Wyoming to be a back up I hope.

I agree with Showtime and NSF both - I don't know who the answer is but I know they didn't bring in Stutzreim to be a back up. They either need to stick with him or make a commitment to Travis Johnson and let him learn while he is still young.

I mean I understand we can't run the ball very well and our pass protection is poor but we don't manage the game very well at all - much of which can be contributed to poor play calling.

former college football player..........TRUST ME.....in stutz's case it is not possible for him to redshirt unless he comes down with an injury that ended his season halfway thru....He used his redshirt while he was at Wyoming plus, he played in the louisville game and by the understanding that Joel McMullen (ISU NCAA compliance officer) gave all of us when we were told about eligibility is that you cant redshirt if you play one minute in football......its different than basketball from my understanding.

The other thing is that as a community we push for things to change if they arent flying our way... and for a qb to truly learn it has to be ugly. So we need to decide, are we willing to put up with the growing pains or do we want to find a way to win now?

We aren't going to win a football game with Ryan Roberts under center, I think we need to go back to Stutzriem.

Hate to sound negative, but I agree. Wasting a year on the sidelines wasn't what we got Stutz for, we might as well play him. What's the worst that can happen? Oh, we might not score, and our offense will look terrible? Oh yeah, that's already happening. The kid has a serious gun for an arm. Maybe if he gets a second or two, he can use that howitzer and move the darn ball!!!

Roberts athleticism can be utilized elsewhere, particularly at receiver. If that O-line can just give Stutz a couple of seconds...
