Owning a large lawn care company this drought is about to kill us! There has been places we haven't been able to service in almost 3 weeks. It's also starting to really have an effect on the farmers also...my attempt at a rain dance failed.

bale it up! IF the drought is Summer-long, you'll have a cash crop on your hands

Glad I am not in the landscaping/mowing business and or a farmer this summer - it's been horrible. I've been waiting for rain for the last 3 weeks so I can get a food plot in for deer hunting season in - just need the rain to soften the ground enough to get a box tiller over it. Granted my food plot isn't near as important as a persons means of survival - but just another example of it's impact. With crop quality way down this summer, if I am able to get some clover or turnips in before mid August then I will have a good chance of pulling in deer to my hunting property.

it sure worked for Florida Sycamore 75!

it's no different out here in the dakota territories either, so we're all in the same boat

I empathize w/ y'all, as my area has all turned to sand and those damn loggerheads have polluted it w/ egg mounds over the past couple months.
