I saw Caleb play against Butler, but they didn't let him throw the ball, so I guess my question revolves around his ability to toss the rock...

That's my major question, I hope him and Ronnie are talking a lot. I really hope he is taking him under his wing and is just like, "This is how you do it." As much as people HATE Brett Favre, a lot of Rodgers Success has to do with Brett showing him how it was done as a big time quarterback.

I think Watkins is a little bit of an unknown. He was a pretty highly rated QB coming out of HS in Ohio, but, unlike Ronnie, has not seen any real game action. He has good size, and a good arm as I remember from the spring and preseason scrimmages, but the unknowns are how his decision making will be under pressure, and how accurate he will be in game situations. I'm hopeful, but if you can get a game-tested FBS QB, obviously you go after that. Glass is definitely in his final year.

As far as Farve goes, I loved him as a player (although didn't like him abusing the Bears), but he needs to learn to shut up. His recent comment with the veiled dissing of Rodgers was tactless. The Packers made the right choice at the time, and Rodgers is clearly one of the top 2-3 QBs in the NFL.

I really didn't think that was how he was trying to frame that and no I am not a favre apologist but I think what he was trying to say (remember not his strength, public speaking that is) was that with Rodgers at QB what surprised him was that it took them this long to win a title. I don't think that's a back handed compliment he is just saying, "Hey, they got a lot of talent, I am just surprised how long it's taken people to notice."

If Watkins is open to learning and getting advice from an older guy, I'm sure Ronnie is helping him. I know Ronnie was personally working with O'Leary every day this spring and summer on technique, reads, etc. Ronnie obviously has some great advice and took it upon himself to mentor O'Leary, so I'm sure he's doing the same if Watkins is open to it.
