I didn’t think Noah Lyles could do it.

He said all week he would win the 100 and he didn’t win a single heat leading up to the final. Based on his times I wasn’t even sure if he would medal.

I thought that was fantastic. Seems to be a humble guy as well. Usan was a show off.

Bob Hayes running on a cinder track in the 1960's with minimalist technology and training is considered by many T&F folks to be quite close or in some circles at least as fast as Bolt.

I AM NOT a T&F expert in the least, but stuff I've seen about Bolt made it seem he was a pretty decent guy...but again, I'm FAR from a T&F guy.

Saw an article where Bolt said he ate over 100 McNuggets a day while in Beijing for Olympics.

He said he didn’t know how his body would react to Chinese food so he just stuck to McDonald’s because he had eaten before and knew his stomach could handle it.

Team USA looking strong against Brazil. Up 30 in the fourth. Might be their most complete game of the Olympics. Hopefully it means they are peaking at the right time.

Kerr has been experimenting with questionable lineups and they haven't made the most sense. Chemistry is starting to coming together. I keep forgetting Team USA gets thrown together a month before it starts vs the World they have been playing together for years so they never have any chemistry issues.

I'm not an NBA fan by any means, but you do have to appreciate the greatness of Steph Curry. Started out at Davidson College and has become likely the greatest shooter of all time. Four threes in a row to lock down the gold, and that last one was just ridiculous. Dude's a legend.
