Unfortunately, doubtful I will make the trip--this will be the 3rd game missed in the last 5 seasons. The young'un has his surgery scheduled for Friday afternoon, so he'll be coming home Saturday.
 
I cannot make the trip. Got approval and then we had a bathroom leak yesterday... depleted my rainy day fund in a hurry.
 
My girlfriend's family is from Pittsburgh, we're driving out on Friday for Thanksgiving break. With Youngstown being so close I will definitely be there!

I'm definately going to be there with my parents. Driving out Friday. If there's enough people going, I can bring the small tent for a little tailgating, and place for people to meet before the game...
NSF, hope all goes well for Mark....
 
So is this the same group that has been complaining about the lack of support for this football team? We have a chance to win our 8th game (which very few would have predicted) and a chance to secure a playoff spot and I'm hearing all of these excuses...don't mean to be critical, but just remember this when we complain about others! New Sycamore Fan, your off the hook with a legit excuse but I'll miss you...prayers for Mark's surgery.

After talking with a couple other players' moms, the decision has been made. There will definately be a blue tent at the game. Leaning towards the smaller one, but as it gets closer to Friday, may change my mind and bring the big one. Either way, the tent will have sides and heat. If you're driving out there, I'm extending an open invitation to stop by, eat, drink and get ready for some fball!! Who knows, there may be some loaded chocolate covered strawberries to kick start the festivities....

Just talked to Athletic Foundation and we’re attempting to coordinate tailgating with them (they’re buying food and beverages). The current plan (which is being coordinated and reserved through Youngstown State) is for all ISU fans to meet in LOT M26. Here is the link to their facilities: Foundation will pay for 2 RV’s (if anyone is bringing an RV). Cars are $5. All invited, let’s get there early and stay late celebrating an ISU victory!

Looks like my chances to make this game are fading. Hopefully I'll be able to attend our game next Saturday.
 
Sounds like you need to go to plan "B".
Offer to keep the kids and send her on a shopping trip....jus sayin!
