who would you like to see ISU play on Friday?? I'll say WSU because it's difficult to lose to the same team 3 times in the same season, sooooo go Illinois State tonight!

UNI over IL St

The 'Birds had their chances & choked down the stretch...Adam Koch blocked a dunk attempt by Odiakosa w/ 7 sec left to seal the win.

We'll get 'em in St. Louis, with Marshall & Lathan now playing well within the ISU fold. :sycamores:
 
I hope they tighten the rotation for Illinois State. There are a couple guys that are just huge defensive liabilities and don't bring anything offensively to justify them eating up minutes.
 
yeah, we are gonna have to be alot better inside than we were at ILS, they just killed us inside.

Still a winnable game.
 
Remember, we handled them just fine at our place and they pounded us on Senior Night at theirs. St.Louis is a whole different ballgame. I'm looking forward to seeing our guys prove they belong!!!
 
I see where Harry was cramping up today while playing 40 min. With no action until next Friday, his endurance isn't gonna get any better. If we can go deep into the tournament, it'll be interesting to see how Lathan & Marshall respond given their short recovery period.

Not so sure about our opponent...

According to the Missouri Valley Website we finished 5th which puts in the game versus Creighton at 2:35pm Friday. How interesting is that?
 
Archmadness website has their bracket up with us as the #6 seed against isu at 8:30. Not sure why the MVC site has it wrong. Am I the only one that really likes looking at Southern Ill. playing on Thursday night? Have really gotten very tired of hearing about them over the past few years.....

We're going to need an inspired effort from Harry. I'm not sure how many Wichita State fans will be on our side, either.
 
ummmm who would they rather win? the team that they "believe" is no threat at all or a team with an NBA prospect and a big man who makes everyone look like little girls..
