And that’s the season. Some good, but at the end of the day 0-3 in conference tourneys isn’t going to cut it here.

Have to imagine Arch joins Graves in a make it or break it season next year.

My fandom gives Arch an extra year before a make or break season. So, year after next, if still no tourney wins next year.

Overall, the team did take a step forward this season, even though they faltered down the stretch.

Admittedly, I don't follow baseball as closely as basketball, so I could be wrong.

I agree in saying that next year is a make or break season. With the success this team had before Arch, and not just under Mitch, it’s been extremely disappointing. Not a single tourney win in two seasons, in a double elimination tournament is unacceptable

Honestly, I'm not sure we were much better than last year, but the conference was significantly worse. The poor quality of the conference helped prop our record, but all in all probably just a slightly better or equivalent team ton last year. Would be nice if our big league alums could throw some cash our way to help build the roster.....but I doubt that will happen. I know Manaea donated 50,000 or so a few years ago, hopefully he is able to up that some and Rea can join him.

So disappointing considering where we were last Thursday night:

Tied for 1st with 2 to play, at home against a bottom team with a fanbase ready to show up. What do we do; go 0-4 down the stretch to end the season. Leaves a sour taste in the mouth

Bingo. The Valley was 25th out of 30 in conference rpi this season, below the American East and Patriot leagues.. This wasn’t an improvement season for us, it was a step back for the rest of the conference.
