Well those numbers certainly don't jump of the page at me or anything like that - it's really hard to tell what we are getting here with the information provided. Then again Tyler Cutter was a 3 star prospect on Rivals, so it's not like any of this means anything. You really have to see a kid play in person multiple times before you can get a feel for what he could do at this level.

Guess we will just wait and see! Welcome to the Sycamores Steve!

the absence of high major offers would indicate lack of quickness, shooting, or ball-h andling commensurate with his height. whatever, sounds like a great catch for us. i'm assuming he was on our a list right below mccall.

Russ Trudeau scored like 27 points a game in high school..... and as you mention, Cutter was a 3 star...... It means nothing......

I like guards that are 6-2 though and not 5-10.

Gabe Moore didn't have high major offers either....... He turned out pretty darn good......

I agree, sounds like a good kid that really WANTS to be at ISU. I will take him....

Welcome to ISU Steve!

From what I've read over the summer, this kid is just starting to really explode in terms of basketball ability. He tore it up over the summer, and his command of the game keeps growing by leaps and bounds. He'll be a good one!!!

If Gabe had been about 3 in taller and had a better J, he could have been a high major, I think.

Actually, he sounds like Gabe. His coach said he was better on his pullup and was working on his outside shot and he is a great defensive guard. I think he said he was one of the best 3 defensive guards that had played for him in 30 years. Or something like that.

Good article thanks for posting - It would not appear that this could is a lights out scorer - however it would seem that he does the little things that don't show up on stats sheets, because his teams seem to win a lot of basketball games. You have to like a winner that plays hard defense.
