The keyword there is "I"...We update recruits on there current doings that aren't going to our school quite a bit. The only difference is the person doing it actually roots for him. What's the difference?
Lemme go ahead and point out bad timing at posting these things...I feel like good things happen for Fred right after a bad loss for us...

Not butt hurt or any of that bullshit. I find it extremely piss poor taste to come on a site and tell Sycamore fans what a great player they are missing out on after immediately after that twam beats you. Sorry I am not buying that. Go to shocked.net and spin that crap if anybody wants to read about him then go over there if ISU were interested we would have offered him.

I wonder how interested the Wichita State message board would be for those of you who aren't bothered by this to go over there and routinely post updates on Rhett Smith over and over and over. I'm sure they would love to hear about him and would be much more tolerant than us. Let me know how it works out.

As stated earlier, I don't give a flying F&@ about ANY player other than ones going to Indiana State, and the fact that this guy keeps coming on here is beyond annoying. Has this guy even posted one thing on this kid on a Shocker message board, or are we the only lucky ones? If he has posted on Shocker sites, has he posted this much? Do any of them care, because the vast majority of us don't and never will.

If some of you on here want updates from your new BFF why don't you exchange email addresses so this BS can stay off a Sycamore board.

IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT DON'T READ IT! Just because someone posts, it doesn't mean you have to look. There are plenty of other threads to read.

Btw, I don't think Rhett Smith has any WSU connection. We heard from Fred's uncle long before he committed to them. He's an alum, and he's proud of his nephew (who we didn't bother to recruit). No harm. If you don't like it, don't read it. Pretty simple...
 
I think I will go on WSU's board and talk about Rhett Smith and since I am the great great grandson of the founder of Wichita State University, they should all be receptive to my message. After all, since I have a "connection" to WSU they should all welcome me with open arms and will probably keep posting "more, more, tell us more about this player who will never be part of our team, who we didn't want at any point or recruit in any way but we should be interested anyway because you are interested in him and you have a connection to our university".

I can almost hear them thanking me for the posts now!

I will let everyone on this message board know how willing the Shocker fans are to hear my message since I know everyone is dying to find out.

Just because some other fanbase acts like a bunch of assholes, doesn't make it ok for us to. We need to be better than that. What makes us better than them if we constantly do the same things?
 
Having pride in your team and interested in YOUR TEAM is not being an asshole . Wanting to have updates about our team and future players is not being an asshole . Do you know for sure this guy is actually an alum? or are you just going by what he says . Helll on Facebook I am a graduate from Harvard law and a NFL QB. Lets start a new website for all our relatives who are playing somewhere other than Indiana State....Get a clue email him if you want updates it is of no class to comeon this site and update a rivals recruits less than 24 hours after they knocked you out of the Tournament not only did they do that they rubbed our face in it by pressing us and shooting threes all the way to the end sorry THATS BEING AN ASSHOLE .

I find it funny the guy who uses "Juvenile" uses all swear words and the connotation of "stick your nose clean up a Chokers ass." Irony?

Actually I am an ISU grad with a Bachelor's in Recreation and Sport Management in '05. If you like I could send you pictures of me at the Bally or with my diploma :bigsmile:
I would be happy to do that. The reason I had continued to post about Fred(who is my cousin actually) is because I was asked to. I was also posting because if you are a Sycamores hoops fan, then why would you not want to know what other teams in the conference are doing to better themselves so we can try and keep up? Or do you just want to think that if we don't know that then we must clearly have the best recruiting class in the conference since you haven't heard about the other teams?

The thing that gets me is that the people who are complaining about this sound a lot like the people who complain about "filth" on tv. There are hundreds of other channels so if you don't like something then don't watch it. There is plenty of other stuff that you can enjoy. So...in saying that, there are plenty of other posts to read and if you don't like what I am writing then DON'T READ IT!!! I never asked you to but some people actually have an interest so you can stop being an internet tough guy and mouthing off to everyone who actually want to read about it.
 
My aunts brother has a cousin who is trying out for his daughters miss softball team . He thinks he might make the team this year.... Be as proud of your nephew or cousin as you want. Me I find it tacky and ridiculous to update on a Sycamore board someone we had no interest in. And happens to be going to a school who just kicked you in the nuts. Not a internet tough guy trust me on that.
