Best of luck to the young man. Too bad he didn't pick a higher quality program...:D

Yeah I'm a pretty sore loser myself, hope he enjoys us handing it to him for the next 4 years or whatever it takes him to graduate. Evansville = Lesser basketball, lesser city, lesser education... Moving on. lol

If we don't get what we want, we can save it. We only have one next year right? Would have a spot for a transfer also.

he also said he wanted to go to a school where his parents can go to every game. His parents are probably hoping they finish I-69 soon--kind of funny that until then, they'll have to drive THROUGH Terre Haute every time they go to an Evansville home game.

(as a side note, I don't think they'll have I-69 finished while he is still in school).

Well sucks he picked evansville but if all he cared about was playing right away I guess its best he went somewhere else because Odum has the pg spot on lock until he leaves. On to the next one

I wonder if Mr. Balentine will take notice that leading up to his announcement, there were over five pages of postings on this site devoted to him and the possibility of his talents coming here to State to play, and that AFTER he announced he would attend E-ville there were exactly five posts made by E-ville fans on their message board. New arenas are nice, but if their message board is any kind of indication of the passion of Purple Ace fans, it still won't be much of a home court advantage.

I predict that the new arena will be sold out for the first few games and as the season wears on the attendance will drop back down to exactly where it has been the last few seasons at Roberts.
