More on Bryant McIntosh picking ISU, he told me he will be recruiting Mack Mercer, Sam Logwood, Tyler Wideman, & Scott Lindsey (IL) to ISU

Great decision on both ends. I wander if my ex-roomie and former sycamore- Bob (Boob-Tube) Barker had any influence here, being from Greensburg. I know he is happy. Great times at State in early 70's with many more to come from the sycamores. Go STATE

One silly side note on Barker. About 10 of us, including Bob and Paul Stroud who both played ISU ball at the same time, were sitting on a front porch at an house across the street from Charlies Hideaway one summer afternoon sipping (many) beers. Out of nowhere, a pony appeared in the middle of Crawford Street and was struck by a car right in front of all of us. I will never forget the reaction, which was NOTHING. It took at least a minute or two before someone said ANYTHING about what we just saw. The pony lived (it had escaped from stable a mile away) and we ended up with one of the craziest college memories of all time. When I saw that Bryant was from Booba's H.S. I wondered if he had helped in the process, or if he even knows him. It never hurts.

Ahhh, those were the days~

That place looked like something out of a Gunsmoke/Dodge City film...I heard about it, but never "sipped" there. Rough part of town - not my "demeanor." :scaredtodeath:

Is Stroud still down @ W. Washington as Supt?

McIntosh is quickly becoming a favorite Sycamore of mine...and he's a junior in HS.

I hear that he is now getting lots of interest and contact from Crean at IU and may be pondering his decision. I hope after his season is over that he sends out a tweet that he is staying with "The Family". He would be such an important part of the puzzle that we need for the future and could be a leader. We need to make sure that he knows how much we want him........................

I don't believe that rumor.

I've seen him play twice and he is great fit for our program.

I went and watched game last night. He's a good one. Looked a little tired after playing great(so I heard) in the morning game. Looks just like Jake Kelly and has a similar game.

Not believing the rumor. I actually talked to a Greensburg fan who knows him and talked about how he loves ISU. He even gave the guy an ISU hat.

No recruit talks about his future team in refering to them as "family" and then leaves that "family" for another school.

Not even buying into this sort of discussion.
