Jus re-watched his highlight tape. This young man has a ridiculously quick release in his jump shot. Very impressive.

Bingo. At that height you have to have a quick release in order to be an effective jump shooter/scorer at this level. Haven't seen him play in person yet but that was first thing I looked at after I saw how tall he was. Averaging over 20 ppg so far this season so that's a plus too.

The article said he's shooting 72% on 3's. I hope he works on shooting before he comes here. LOL


I just checked their website. After 3 games, he is 13/18 on 3's and his A/TO ratio is 4.3 and 25.7 ppg

You may be interested in knowing that William S. "Babe" Holland, a Terre Haute boy and an outstanding student-athlete at Indiana State, coached your alma mater Yates High School to the 1930 Texas high school football title. There is a school in Houston named for Holland, who was a formidable advocate of equal rights in public schools.
Of less relevance you may also be interested in knowing that another Indiana State graduate, Edison Oberholtzer, founded the University of Houston.

he plays an hour from where I live and our niece and her family live there as well. I think I shall have to make a road trip. Might also catch him here in Pasadena too.
