Per Todd Golden....."Another player who has made a verbal commitment to play at ISU, Chicago-based forward Nick Robinson, has not had his LOI processed due to a minor technicality that needs to be fixed on his end."

So it's signed, but not processed? Did he get it in by the deadline? So many questions here.

Not expecting you to necessarily know the answer, by the way....

So, Todd Golden responded to me on Twitter. I think we have a problem here. ISU can't comment since it involves a non-LOI committed recruit, but it doesn't sound like the LOI was sent in on time (or signed at all).

Not good. Anyone else know the story here?

will this be another Bryant McIntosh situation? I sure hope not. Has someone been feeding this kid info telling to wait for a "better" offer? I sure hope not. He looks like he'd fit in real well at ISU.

Great. I hope someone from Indiana State looks at Sarah Dickey's Brother from Riverton Parke School. We missed out on Sarah Dickey, Moen wouldn't look at her. So Evansville picked her up. Just saying........

Not sure what your affiliation is with Dickey but he aint a D1 basketball player. Not trying to be rude or anything but he aint going to be playing at Indiana State or any other D1 school. Just saying... As for not recruiting his sister, that was a mistake. Seems like your post is probably more negativity about her not being recruited than her brother anyway. I know in Rosedale it seems like all things must be realitve sometimes but it's really not the case - just because ISU didn't recruit her doesn't mean they should some how view this as a sign from God that her brother can play D1 basketball because he is a local kid. This is why you (people reading this) have to take things you read on here with a grain of salt, because Riverton got beat by 60 points to Cloverdale a few weeks ago and you are on here talking about a kid from RP being recruited by Indiana State...

My uninformed gut tells me that Nick and his family neglected to submit the paperwork (LOI) correctly, and as a result, they have to wait till April to do it again. This is not a Bryant McIntosh situation....unless Nick has some unforeseen phenomenal senior year.

That would be my guess as well. It's usually one of a couple things, right? Either incorrect paperwork, a NCAA Clearinghouse issue (missing class, test score, etc) or the prospect is holding out hope for a high major offer.

I hope your uninformed gut is right.

Paperwork issue..Robinson wanted to sign and I'll leave it at that. Unfortunately we have to wait until the spring now and with kids these days you never know what can/will happen.
