Just looking ahead a little the front 2/3 of the Valley schedule is pretty brutal for us. Out of our first 12 Valley games I would consider the only "easier" games are vs.Evansville and @UIC. On Feb. 3rd we play Drake at home and the schedule significantly lightens up from there. By that time we will be done with Drake, Bradley, UNI, and Belmont.
Moral of the story is if we can get a few games up on everyone in January it's going to be real tough for anyone to catch us.

A long way to go but a win @Drake would be HUGE and put us CLEARLY in the drivers seat with wins @UNI, @Bradley, and @Drake
Would be curious to see how much this changes after the Drake game. I would imagine if Drake wins it moves closer to a 50/50 split between State and them.

Don't know where you are coming from on this. I was at the Belmont game last year and it was close to a sell out.
I'd say he's gone at the end of the season.
Yeah they drew well for our game, that was the exception, not the norm. They don't have a single poster on any message board, they brought a real small crowd to St. Louis, and they average about 2,200 per game. Their arena only holds 5,000 so even a near sell-out is our average crowd. Again for being one of the most successful and consistent bball programs the last 15 years their attendance sucks.

Wouldn't mind if home teams just won out today. Bradley winning might play in our favor as Bradley is fringe quad 1 road win and that would give us a nice boost to the ole' eye test.
Interesting to see what happens in the MSU Eville game. Purple aces appear to have their go-to guy back in the line-up and with all the Ford drama will be fascinating to just see if the wheels have completely come off in Springfield

Evansville and Missouri State trading buckets through the first 10 minutes. Aces have led since the start.
For all the people on here who like to complain about the officiating we get at home, Evansville is at home and has been called for 7 fouls to Missouri State’s 1 with about 8 min left in the half.

Which let the Bears go on that big run and take the lead.
Since, 5 Bears fouls to no more for the Aces and the Aces are promptly back in front.
Both of these teams have way too much hero ball going on.
