North Carolina just got in with a 1-12 record in Q1. And here I thought not having Q1 wins keeps teams out. At least that's what they told us
Their AD is chairperson on the selection committee. Corruption is what it is. That team belongs nowhere near the tournament.

Funny how all those metrics that meant so much in keeping us out last year mean very little this year.
Next season, let’s just schedule the most ridiculously difficult non conference schedule possible. We won’t even have to win them, that’s basically what they said about UNC! New way to “game” the system!!!

Drake fans have to feel pretty good about WVU not making it. So much for greener pastures.
Just saw 111 of 111 bracketoklogist had them in and they didn't make it. First time that has ever happened
WVU should have had their president on the committee like UNCs was.
They said a major reason WVU was excluded was because of the DeVries injury (direct quote from the committee). There's been a lot of speculation that his injury wasn't actually that bad he just wanted another year of eligibility to play for his dad at Iowa or IU next year. If that's true I bet he feels awful right now
I'll be curious to see if Drake can finally get over the hump, but I don't really have any plans of actually watching the tournament. I didn't even realize it was Selection Sunday today until I jumped on here just now. Apparently the $EC got 14 of their 16 teams into the tournament. That tells me all I need to know about the selection process, not that I expected anything different.

Indiana.....the supposed hot bed of basketball. One team from Indiana in the NCAA tournament......ONE!!!!! Sad......
Won't be watching one minute of any college tournament. Not adding money to the power conference coffers.

So now there's only 4 P5 teams in the NIT because the rest want their P5-exclusive tournament in Vegas. If this happened last year, we wouldn't have been hosting ACC, B1G, & XII teams.

DeVries has been out with an injury since Dec 8. He hasn't played basketball in essentially 3 months. The fact that the committee used that as an excuse is atrocious. That's coming from a guy who hates the P5. That would be like the 2021-2022 sycamores not making the tournament because Tyreke Key was hurt
