Yep, March Madness for as long as I can remember is a showcase for elite guard play. Almost everyone "One Shining Moment" video clip I can recall from almost my entire fandom is guard play.

How long is it going to take for the committee to realize that there isn't a single conference that deserves 10+ bids? Every year those conferences' teams drop like flies. Gonzaga was up 27-3 (not a typo!) on Georgia at the beginning of the game!
Also how many times does the Mountain West have to go 0-4 in the tournament for them to realize that that conference deserves 2 bids max? SDSU lost by 27 to UNC in the First 4, and now Utah State just lost by 25 to UCLA. I suspect Colorado State and New Mexico will also embarrass themselves tomorrow.
Obviously the answer is that they won't ever figure it out, but I'm just stating the obvious here.
