Just because Schertz picked a guy to take over, doesn't mean he's a bad guy. I think Schertz got in over his head with the money being thrown around and took the bait early from SLU and couldn't backout. Instead of just being upfront an out he chose to take the route he did and it hosed us for this season. People got pissed and he wants to pretend he doesn't know why. It's his fairytale to live, but that doesn't mean Samarrippas is a bad dude.

I fully believe McCollum is a top 5 coach in the game. Outside of Stirtz there is a ton of talent in that team. but they are so dang disciplined and play to their strengths, it's impressive

Well… It really helps when you have an elite PG play in college basketball especially in March. It’s always held true - if you’ve got a coin flip game in March give me the team with the better PG.
