That is not true. We have never played exhibitions against Division 1 4 year programs. Now the exception has been charity type events that the P5’s have been doing but outside of that, hasn’t been the case.
I was counting secret scrimmages. I guess the only difference is that they can be public.

Secret scrimmages and exhibitions are 2 different things. Exhibitions are the games we usually play like Rose Hulman before the season starts.
I know they are secret but I heard they use the same kind of ball and shoot at a 10 ft rim. I've even heard scores and some player scoring.
No. A scrimmage is when you play against yourself. A secret scrimmage is a game. An exhibition is a game.

Exhibition correct. Secret Scrimmage that’s not correct. They scrimmage another school. There are different formats they use for secret scrimmages and they also mix them. Depends on what the coaches agree upon.

"In another rule change, preseason practice scrimmages — often labeled “secret scrimmages” in the college basketball world — no longer have to be conducted in private without official scoring."

Doug Gottlieb's Green Bay gave up a 28-0 run against Robert Morris. I knew they were bad, but how do you let one dude score 28 straight!?
Well the other night I was watching Purdue's girls play #4 USC and after the first quarter Boilers lead 16-14. USC then outscored them 31-2 in the 2nd quarter. Craziness

Has anyone else noticed there has been an abundance of crazy scores this basketball season? I've noticed a handful of top 25 teams get taken to the woodshed one night (lose by 30+) and then 2 days later they are beating another top 25 team by 30+. I've just noticed that a lot more this season. The logical reason would be home court advantage coupled with mentally weak players worried more about their bank accounts than their pride. But the conspiracy theorist in me can't help but wonder if sports betting and NET tampering is going on

It's all the extra travel thanks to superconferences. With a normal schedule Purdue would have beaten TOSU easily the other night, but they were coming off back to back road games @Washington and @Oregon and were just exhausted by the second half

Heard the fight have have been started because of Saint Louis fans chanting "let's go Russia" every time VCUs Ukrainian player was shooting FTs. 🤮

I'd like to point out that the worst thing a fan has done at Hulman Center as long as I can remember is throw a hot dog on the court.

That’s a very distasteful thing to shout out.

Have Drake on a split screen with the St Johns/Marquette game, Drake started 30 minutes later but the gameclocks are 7:22 vs 7:45.

The officials ruining the flow of certain games is something that has to be addressed

I remember that. Pretty sad we had no control over our players. WSU players stayed put.

control had nothing to do with it, the Trees were simply there quicker b/c it happened on the ISU end of the court

Wichita City players were simply S-L-O-W to arrive at the fight
