I keep hearing that but I don't recall reading anything like that on this forum or elsewhere. the only place I ever heard about this was from Schertz. If there was a post of that nature, it was just that, "a post" (singular). Not so on the "Biff and Buffy" forum.... multiples.
Tuning into Drake for the first time this year. playing in the championship game against a 6-0 Vandy team. As we know it's nearly impossible to get a an at-large anymore but Drake is making a case and will have a story America will love come march....if they are for real....
It was on Twitter and it was one person - he drew plenty of criticism here in year one as well. I’m not sure anyone called for his job - but literally one or two people on Twitter did and he decided to regurgitate a narrative that the entire fan base wanted him fired which is well - petty and soft and bizarre behavior.

Drake will win this game (most likely) because they are much more disciplined than Vanderbilt.
Vanderbilt may have better athletes but their default setting is the try and go one in one and play hero. Particularly number 1 for them
Drake just keeps running their offense and getting good shots.
Eventually Vanderbilt will get frustrated and start taking bad shots and Drake will go on a run.
Only way I could see Vanderbilt winning is if Drake goes cold.

It's a pretty cool story line but damn I hope McCollum isn't at Drake long if this is what the guy does every year.
Also kind of funny that Shetlar transfered from the only program to play 6 guys to the only program to play 6 guys
He’s been around a lot of winning basketball - something to be said for that. Good teammate. Those top guys need to practice with good players - scout team guys that know ball. Iron sharpens iron at that level.
I know what you’re saying in that’s probably not what he had in mind when transferring but if your going to transfer and somehow not play - you better hope it’s for a team that can go and it appears he’s on a team that can go and then some.
Drake was apparently his dream job and he declined multiple low level D1 opportunities in the past.
That said, we know what that kind of talk is worth.
