Oregon state and next game is part of mte in U.S. Virgin IslandsHow is Evansville getting these teams to come to their place?
Evansville played away games at those two schools last yearMiddle Tennessee State and UT Arlington? Not bad. But not unheard of.
Not announced.What/where is ISU's MTE this year?
I know....I'm here for the rumors, speculation, and leaksNot announced.
That's what I'm saying that was applied across the board. Rocco Miller or others who usually announce it way before ISU does. There's nothing out there.I know....I'm here for the rumors, speculation, and leaks![]()
We should just host one……….That's what I'm saying that was applied across the board. Rocco Miller or others who usually announce it way before ISU does. There's nothing out there.
Call it the Tree Classic invite Stanford, Ohio State. Any other tree adjacent mascots? If ISU were to host an MTE, what format and field would be ideal?
Sounds good but we aren't getting those schools in the Hulman Center. It would be like a Western Illinois and Citadel.Call it the Tree Classic invite Stanford, Ohio State. Any other tree adjacent mascots?

I like your idea better than my original thoughts. It has a marketable, ISU connected theme and targets a broad base of potentially "gettable" teams .
My own thought was an 8 team field consisting of four mid majors and four "gettable" power 5 schools. Probably much the harder to sell.
All 8 are from different conferences to build a mid major pool of ISU and three other who play two games in pool to get a 1-4 seeding. Same for the P5's. Then the 1's thru 4's play each other. Majors get two games vs P5's and mids get two quality mid opponents followed by a shot at a P5 on a neutral court.
