Another Valley player who is too small and frail to play in the majors, he plays 38 minutes versus the Cougars and scores in the low 20's. I heard the last 4 minutes of the game on Sirius. He went to the line multiple times and made every free throw. Tn was definitely getting him the ball and Houston was unable to strip it or intercept a pass. He is averaging nearly 20 ppg for the Volunteers.

It's crazy to think how much young talent there was in the MVC the year we won it. You currently have
Ryan Conwell averaging 18 pts and nearly 5 rebounds for #6 Louisville
Cade Tyson averages 21 pts and 4 rebounds for Minnesota
Robbie Avila goes for 13/4/2 at you know where
Malik Dia averages 14 and 5 for a 5-0 Ole Miss squad
Jacobi Gillespie is 19/3/6 splits for #17 Tennessee
Kevin Overton averages 10 and 3 for #21 Auburn
Tucker DeVries 19/6/3 for #25 IU
I'm sure there is more but those are just the ones I'm thinking of off the top of my head. I hate this era of college sports
You could see 3-4 of these players in the NBA. Conwell, DeVries, Dia, and Gillespie all have a chance I think.

We are probably ranked right where we should be. But the NET is the biggest load of shit the NCAA came up with since NIL and the transfer portal and the quad system. College sports suck as right now
The transfer portal just needs to be adjusted. Quad system needs to be destroyed. Net system is fine except the Committee doesn’t use it like they say they do. NIL can be it’s on thread for what’s wrong with that.

Blame SCOTUS (a unanimous SCOTUS BTW) and the Sherman Antitrust Act for NIL and the US District Court of Northern West Virginia for the transfer portal....though you can kind of blame the NCAA because when they lost at the District Court level they settled. Same with House. They settled within six months of the class being certified....scared to death of millions more in attorney fees and possibly billions more in damages.

Duh. It’s the formula. Majority of your non-con is cup cakes at home to rack up wins and metrics, then play a couple of marquee matchups on neutral site games, so it makes your non-con SOS look respectable. If you win them - GREAT. If you lose - oh well, it doesn’t hurt and you have plenty of time to make up for it.
Now all I have to do is go around .500 which is easy to do because half my games are home and I’ll throw the ball through the hoop a couple more times than normal on occasion.
