Unfortunately, I think we could have expected that if we would have won any of our 6 losses to only give us 5, we would have been in too with 5 losses.

I'm not sold he's staying. I think he agreed to an extension with a huge buyout clause to help SLU once he sign with a power school.

-They don’t give quality mid-majors a SOS boost
-they don’t risk losing to a quality MM which hurts their resume.
-they don’t risk a quality MM getting in at-large discussion with a win, which would take away a spot for them
- come selection Sunday they can say “they didn’t play anyone”

First, it sure looks like Avila is signaling for a TO immediately after not getting the rebound or keeping Dayton off the boards and giving up the tip-in

Second, while you can’t hear it I cannot imagine the refs didn't blow the play dead because a) the ball rolls away and b) they would want to review the clock

Refs stop the clock and review everything 10x a game. No way they aren’t stopping the clock to get a review of the time in that situation.

That's why I wish mid majors had a voice. Someone needs to go back at these studio guys and challenge them on that on these shows or on social media. Sad thing is if Miami gets in I'd almost be money the committee gives them the ole 2014 Shocker treatment.

A guy on a sports radio station in Dallas summed it up very well when it comes to Miami (OH) and how they don’t play anybody. He said (just like in our situation when we won The Valley), nobody from P-5 will give them a game, so your argument doesn’t stand with me. Miami gets in!
