Leave me out of your "we". The better the players we recruited play somewhere else validates that ISU's recruiting is on target. And I can still value the contributions each made.
I don't think the MSOD [MovingScreenOfDeath] meant we as in WE, WE! or WE!!! as you think MSOD did.

MSOD said "Same thing we do with any other player that leaves, ignore them and move on. If you don't want to be here, I'm not interested in keeping up with you."

If MSOD really meant we, as in your interpretation of his we, then why did MSOD use the, referring to himself pronoun, I'm; and if MSOD really meant WE!!!, MSOD would have use we again instead of I'm. Affirming that MSOD meant we as everyone, especially you on SP.

The MSOD we, was meant as generic as people from the Midwest say POP, while Americans in other parts of country say SODA.

And SODA or POP don't mean Jack, you still have to make the leap when ordering to say Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Sprite, Coke, unless you're from Sullivan 🏹 and then when you say POP there, the waitress or waiter by ESP will know exactly what you want, and will bring out the Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Sprite, Coke, or Root Beer that you mind 🛜 signaled to them.

And in case anyone (not you DB) didn't notice, I did NOT misgender MSOD as I did not want to put out any negative microaggression energy. And I could have assumed and used she/her, he/him, they/them, ze/zir or my favorite personal pronouns that I use, up/yours; but I just made it all gender-neutral by abbreviating his screen name MSOD.

Oh, and as a suggestion, your reply to MSOD could have been written as follows:
Just as a reminder for everyone, the better the players WE recruited play somewhere else validates that ISU's recruiting is on target. And I can still value the contributions each made.

To be clear on Gray if it hasn’t been made clear and I missed it - he has no eligibility left. Same with Teel. But they are both putting in requests for an additional season - given the requests take time they have to enter to portal for self preservation.

This is very misleading.
Paint me as confused. Who is going to recruit them if they are waiting on eligibility and it is questionable?

No one. But If they do get approval and Indiana State doesn’t have a roster spot - then they would be entering too late and would likely not find a landing spot.

If they make themselves available coaches can inquire and start doing due diligence.

I think we just found this young man’s problem, that his dad does all the tough stuff in his life. Will be interesting to watch this one’s career progress.

Naaa… I don’t see it that way. That’s just a loving father that has coached his son in a different era then what you and even I grew up in. Have some grace.

His problem is - his height, his shot and his defense. Those are his “problem” if you could call it that. Hopefully, he keeps working on his game - with a shot and a more locked in mentality on D he could figure some things out. He’s got a little ways to go though.

None of us knows for sure, but considering I have never seen a parent put their kid in the portal before I stand by my observation.

I can tell you this Joey - a lot of people just read this forum and they don’t post for reasons just like this… They don’t want to be checked.

His dad had nothing to do with his ability to play basketball for Indiana State, full stop. That’s pretty far down on the list - if that’s where you want to take this then you’re really ignoring a lot about his game in general.

Your words. Not mine. “I think we just found out this young man’s problem” excuse me but some of the most celebrated college basketball players in the country grew up being coached by their dad.

In fact, I know a pretty interesting story about a dad who is literally dictating his own son’s transfers without making a F’ing instagram post by way of leaving Drake to WVU to IU… How is that dad doing? How is that not a problem? He’s moving his kid all over the country and making him follow him - that’s cool though? Kid hasn’t had to make a single post, his dad made all his decisions for the both of him. Got it.

Sit this one out Joey, you missed.
