I don't see Vorst on the bench much.
If he is healthy he won't be on the bench much. But his ability to stay healthy has to come into question at this point. I like the kid and really want a healthy season out of him. If he can do that he will be looking at most improved team by the end of the year

I'd like to know how many games he missed last year due to injury and how many were CD.

Well, I hope you’re right. In that case he will have significantly improved his conditioning, speed, health and issues with fouling. All are possible, but based on what we know it seems difficult to believe we’re going to rely on Vorst for 25+ minutes a game.

This will be a very important offseason for him.
I'm not saying this in disagreement.
Just saying:
speed won't change much
Was conditioning a problem?
I don't know how much of a factor his health was
He can improve the fouling with experience. The game is not called by the rules so a player must learn that when he has the ball inside
or on the drive, he can clear the way and draw a foul on the defender. On defense, he must realize that if he plays legal and proper
defense, he is likely to be called for the foul.

I'm pleased with JD & Vorst (when healthy) improvement last season. Small sample size, but so far no reason to question whether coaching staff knows how to create & help a player implement a 'big man' improvement plan.

Also, Aaron Gray.

Yes, Yes: How could anybody question the improvement in JD?

So aside from Vorst, has anyone heard definitively that Camp, JD, Walker, or others are coming back?
In this day and age that is a pretty solid core to build around. 100% need an impact guard or 2 (hopefully there is a teel 2.0 out there) and another solid big.

Walker needs to take that step forward. The opportunity will be there, he just needs to take it

I think Vost’s issues have been the inconsistency in his health, which has led to him always playing catchup. I don’t say he has a conditioning problem due to lack of effort or commitment, but I feel like he’s been coming off of an injury for the last 2 years. Each time he gets some momentum and begins to come to form, he gets hurt again. That could be bad luck and he’s due for a huge year, or it’s a pattern we’ll always be fighting.

I'm saying, I think Graves might have leaned a few things at Butler. Playing center is not rocket science.
Playing center in modern basketball, and especially the system we want to run, is much more difficult than being a true big of old that is expected to sit under the basket and bang. The 5 in our system needs to be able to be a hub, to be able to shoot, and ideally get a bucket whenever we need one, which is not an easy adjustment for many, as Harding found out.
