I'd even go farther. I think Valpo and Evansville, along with lots of other mid / low major schools need to consider if they should even be Division 1 at all. I might even be willing to throw ISU into that camp. How are we supposed to compete to when everyone else will rob the good players we have? We also basically play in a 1 bid league now, so barring a perfect 3 or 4 day run in St Louis, most teams in this conference aren't sniffing an NCAA Tournament any time soon. Then there's the House Settlement to pay former P5 players that played before the NIL era, and several schools are already considering dropping out of D1 so they don't have to be apart of that.
What a mess! Jason nailed it when he said the AD’s just sat and went along with this. Changes have to happen, but so will the lawsuits.

I'm going to guess Kansas since that's where he is from.
I would pick them too, if I were him. Hunter Dickinson set the bar pretty low for highly sought-after big men in the portal transferring to Kansas. Won't have to do a whole heck of a lot to outperform him.

In case anyone didn't realize, I am poking fun at all the KU fans who seems so eager to get rid of Dickinson. Saw lots of people bitching about him online. I wish we had a guy average 18 and 10 for a couple seasons that we could complain about...LOL

So if you are a program do you give an absolute bucket to Eli Shetlar in NIL? On one hand you get a 30+ win season and the talk of the NCAA; but your coach will leave after a year and you won't have a team come April. What do you do?
On the lower end because doesn't have any production.
